Love and Honor God and the Church

Honor your father and mother. God is our father, and the Church is like our mother.

"Love your neighbor as yourself." Your neighbor includes other people in the church. Are you loving them? The greatest commandment is to love God and love our neighbor (that includes the church).

1 Peter 2:9 says “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” We are in the family of God. We are His royal priesthood.
